Fireworks
Professional fireworks display every Thursday evening from June 24 – Labor Day. A fun event for the entire family. Approximately 9:45pm next to the Pier (sponsored by Palace Playland and The Pier). Also large display for the July 4th Show!

Ocean Park Music Festival

2010 Calendar of Events
January 1st - 22nd Annual Lobster Dip

Watch or join in as over 300 participants dip into the chilly waters as a fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics of Maine. On the beach in front of the Brunswick Hotel. Sponsored by the Portland Rugby Club. 207-879-0489

March 27 - 5th Annual Easter Egg Extravaganza...
Great family fun for all ages featuring a parade, Easter egg hunt, photos with the OOB Bunny costumed character, animal balloons and other fun-filled games. At Loranger Middle School from 10:00am to 1:00pm. All free to the general public. Sponsored by Old Orchard Beach Recreation Department. 207-934-0860

May 15 - Beerfest – 12th Annual...
All day event featuring over 30 microbrews and live music on the Pier. 207-934-3595.

May 24 - Memorial Day Parade...
The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion of Old Orchard Beach co-host this 1pm annual parade. 207-934-5714

June 10 – 13 - 7th Annual Back to the Beach Corvette Weekend...
Hundreds of corvettes arrive for a welcome party, grand prix racing, doo wop dance, car cruises and awards banquet with dance and DJ. 603-893-2797

June 19 - 6th Annual Cpt. Christopher S. Cash Memorial 5K and 2.5 Mile Walk...

July 3 – 5 - Parade and 22nd Annual Family Sand Sculpture Contest - Ocean Park...

July 8 – August 19 - Weekly Concerts in the Park...
Concerts every Thursday evening beginning at 6:00pm in Memorial Park. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and picnic while listening to bluegrass, country, folk and other assorted music venues. 207-934-2500.

July 9 – 11 - Annual Greek Heritage Festival...
Weekend long festival celebrating homemade Greek food, pastries, music and dancing. Church tours, bookstore, crafts and many activities for children. Live Greek band on Friday and Saturday evening. July 25 - Annual Seaside Art Festival...
Art in Memorial Park featuring numerous Maine and New England artists work on display for sale and judging. Entertainment by the Salvation Army Band and a barbershop quartet. Proceeds to benefit the Libby Memorial Library Building Fund. 207-934-4351

July 31 – August 6 - Salvation Army Pier Ministry...
Week long evening entertainment in The Square featuring vocalists, magicians, bilingual speakers, bands and other entertainment. Parade of Witness. 13th annual golf tournament. Volleyball beach blast. 207-934-2024.

August 7 - Illumination Night - Ocean Park...
Ocean Park community lights their homes during the 21st annual Festival of Lights. Band concert and strawberry shortcake are special favorites during this event. 207-934-9068.

August 20 – 22 - 27th Annual Beach Olympics...
Three days of fun competition, music, displays and a presentation to benefit Special Olympics of Maine. On the Beach, in The Square and the surrounding area. All welcome. Sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution & Town of Old Orchard Beach.

August 21 - Annual 5k Race...

September 10 – 12 - Tow Truck and Meet Parade...
20th Annual show provided by the towing and Recovery Association of Maine. Three day show includes driver skills tests, police and fire demos, parade, awards and other fun events. Memorial Park and First Street Open to the general public. FMI: 207-590-1003

September 17 – 18 - 17th Annual Car Show...
Car show with many divisions, entertainment, trophies and awards. Friday night lineup on Main Street with parade and car show on Saturday. Great family fun for all. Sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution & Town of Old Orchard Beach.

December 5 - 17th Annual Christmas by the Sea...
Annual tree-lighting event with free horse-drawn haywagon rides, face painting, entertainment, hot chocolate and food. Frosty and Rudolph will be on hand. Bonfire and caroling on the Beach and holiday bazaar. Have your picture take with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who arrive on a fire engine, making this a very special tradition and holiday event.
